Open Atrium is an open-source Intranet platform with features useful to keep track of projects and research. Open Atrium allows multiple users to share resources, and is a great solution to consider when you need to keep multiple project team members informed and connected.
RefWorks
RefWorks is an online research management and collaboration tool that allows the user to collaborate on projects and share information. The annual license is $100 and also includes support and feature upgrades.
Dropbox
Dropbox is an application that allows you to syncronize files across multiple computers and online. Dropbox allows file sharing and serves as an online backup solution. 2 GB of storage and transfer is free, or pay for larger accounts. ($9.99/month for 50 GB and $19.99/month for 100 GB)
Zotero
Zotero is a free Firefox plug-in which lets you capture websites, documents, links and other media. Zotero includes tools to organize the information you capture, including tagging and separate files.
